Twarahawe Kumurika (Burundi)

Twarahawe Kumurika features 11 songs on the themes of forgiveness, hope and healing. They were written by Burundian worship musicians that attended a songwriting workshop that focused on praying for the future of the nation after a prolonged civil war. Sung in Kirundi, they feature some elements from local culture; including traditional drums and certain guitar playing styles, etc. English language translations appear within the sleeve notes. The CD was released in 2015.
